Classes I teach

Art I is designed to give the student a wide variety of art experiences. The students will learn the

fundamentals of drawing, painting, and three-dimensional design.

Drawing I will provide students with guided opportunities to develop and strengthen their drawing skills

through application of many different techniques. The student will work from still subjects, figures, portraits,

and their imagination to create original drawings.

The student will experiment with a variety of painting techniques and media, color theory, and different

painting styles and subjects. Media may include acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media.

Photography I will introduce students to photographic processes. Emphasis will be on basic composition

skills and creating a successful photograph. Students will be expected to complete work outside of class

and will need to provide their own camera. Instructor will specify camera model and/or type.
